Ready-to-move-in apartments in Dubai sold for about AED 5.28 billion across 2,988 transactions in October 2026, according to an analysis by the Al Masdar Al Aqaari platform of Dubai Land Department data, reported by Gulf Today on 1 November. That is the highest monthly value since February and 25.7% above September, when 2,437 deals were worth AED 4.2 billion. Transactions rose 22.6% month on month. The article's headline quotes the September value, so the body figures are used here.

Ready units were 36.9% of the value and 34.3% of the number of all apartment sales in October, which means off-plan apartments still made up the larger part of the market. Among the first ten months of 2026, October ranks third for both value and number of deals. February was the strongest month, at AED 6.85 billion across 3,844 transactions, followed by January at AED 5.96 billion across 3,527.

By number of ready-apartment deals, Jumeirah Village Circle led with 384 transactions worth AED 364.8 million. Business Bay followed with 237 deals worth AED 448.6 million, then Liwan with 187 deals worth AED 192 million. International City Phase 1 recorded 129 deals worth AED 58.2 million, and Dubai Marina 123 deals worth AED 338.6 million. The gaps between deal counts and values show how different the price levels are across these communities.

The higher end was active too. Ready apartments priced at AED 10 million or more recorded 44 transactions worth roughly AED 700 million in October. Palm Jumeirah led all areas in that segment with 18 transactions totalling AED 343.9 million. Its two most expensive deals were AED 55 million and AED 53.7 million. These are single-month figures from one analysis and should be read as a snapshot of that month only.

For owners and buyers, the numbers show that ready homes, which can be lived in or rented out at once, kept trading actively alongside off-plan. Arabian Business, citing Springfield Properties, reported 10,442 secondary-market transactions worth AED 30.83 billion in the third quarter, so October fits a wider pattern of steady activity. One month does not set a trend, and anyone pricing a unit should compare recent registered deals in the same building.
